“Choosing authenticity means cultivating the courage to be imperfect, to set boundaries, and to allow ourselves to be vulnerable; exercising the compassion that comes from knowing that we are all made of strength and struggle.” ~Brene Brown
Holly Barnes, LPC
In addition to private practice, Holly is a Program Educator for the FIRE Within program helping high school students create entrepreneurial innovations aimed at suicide prevention.
Through Holly’s work, a client’s life concerns, issues, and challenges are approached holistically. The whole person and the impact and influence of the mind, body, and soul are considered in the counseling process. Life is complicated but Holly’s hope is to help her clients become unstuck, make new discoveries, and live an authentic life of joy, strength, wholeness, and overall wellbeing. With awareness brings intention and action to positive, lasting change.
Outside the counseling profession, she enjoys life with her husband, son, dog, and two cats. Music and sports are constants in her family life!
I have thoroughly benefited from my work with Holly. Our time together has made me feel like I can continue to move forward. She’s provided a light in what seemed like a narrowing world. ~H.C.
